The relationship between Kalām (Islamic theology) and ethics is an interdisciplinary topic that examines the interaction or exchange between ethics and theology. The main questions addressed in this brief study are: Is there a correlation and interconnection between Kalām and ethics, particularly Islamic Kalām and Islamic ethics? To what extent does this correlation exist? Is it so profound that it can be described as the "intertwining of Kalām and ethics"? From the author’s perspective, Kalām and ethics not only interact but are deeply intertwined. Many theological arguments have ethical propositions as their minor premises, just as many ethical issues are based on theological propositions. In this article, through a descriptive-analytical method and by examining the works of Islamic theologians and ethicists using library resources, it is concluded that the most important theological principles - such as monotheism and divine attributes, prophecy, imamate, and resurrection-along with key theological issues like rational goodness and evil, free will, and voluntariness, can serve as the foundation for enduring ethics. In ethical education, a successful model can be presented through monotheistic education, belief in the afterlife, and emulation of the lives of divine prophets and infallible Imams (AS). Therefore, it is essential for scholars of Kalām to be adequately aware of ethical teachings, and for scholars and educators of ethics to have a necessary understanding of theological issues.
